The “Wild and Precious” exhibition will open on Monday for six months at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, the European headquarters of the United Nations.
Having been seduced by “Planet Ocean” at the Cité du Temps in 2013, the Swiss public will now be able to discover “Wild and Precious” which has been opened for the first time in Europe. This exhibition, spotlighting illegal wildlife trafficking issues through the work of seven committed photographers, has already toured a number of international airports and metro stations in the major Asian capital cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok).
The exhibition will open on Monday March 3, on the occasion of the first World Wildlife Day organised by CITES. The opening will be attended by Ban Ki-moon, Secretary General of the United Nations, John William Ashe, President of the sixty-eighth session of the United Nations General Assembly, and Yann Arthus-Bertrand, President of the GoodPlanet Foundation.
